Scholastic is having a Clearance Sale at their warehouse on Brick Church Pike in Nashville for educators.
Many of their books were in last year's book fair. If you are interested in going, see Ms. Rhoads next week for more information.
I have found some really good websites for teachers.
Proteacher.net (www.proteacher.net) is a forum-style site that has lots of good ideas for your classrooms! There are photos of classrooms that are unbelievable!
Real Classroom Ideas (www.realclassroomideas.com) has a lot of good information and ideas from other teachers.
Mrs. Mapp has donated some book sets to the library. Most have six copies, which would be great for small group instruction or to use for centers.
Ms. Rhoads has donated a class set of Charlotte's Web.
