Fall Semester Week 15, November 16th - 20th:
We are yet another week closer to the Subject Area Test. In fact, we have only 9 school days left until the test. So we continue our preparations with a review of past mixed practice items. We will also review some items from last week's district test.
Vocabulary for this week will be focusing on analogies and other words that give us problems when we write.
In literature, we continue our study of irony and characterization while we are reading Sharon Draper's Battle of Jericho. We will be doing some real work on making inferences with this novel as we begin a series of assignments in which you will blog as different characters from the novel about issues raised in this novel.
