We are learning, discussing, and applying the concept of simple predicates in English. The simple predicate of a sentence is the main words that tells the action of the subject.

Spelling will be graded as follows: The spelling test will be worth 50% of our students grade, contract will be worth 35% and the partner practice which takes place on most Thursdays will be 15% of the spelling grade.
Spelling Pretests will be given every Monday unless otherwise posted by the teacher. The students will get their pretest back on Mondays. Spelling tests are given every Friday unless it is a short week.
Spelling contracts are also due on Fridays before the test. Contracts are do every week unless the teacher says otherwise.
