Due to the inclement weather and the schedule change there will be no spelling wrods or contracts done this week. We will resume normal spelling routine next week.

Spelling Contracts due: 

Parents, please make sure that your child has their spelling pretest with them on Thursdays and Fridays. We use their pretest as practice on Thursdays.

Spelling will be graded as follows: The spelling test will be worth 50% of our students grade, contract will be worth 35% and the partner practice which takes place on most Thursdays will be 15% of the spelling grade.

Spelling Pretests will be given every Monday unless otherwise posted by the teacher. The students will get their pretest back on Mondays. Spelling tests are given every Friday unless it is a short week.

Spelling contracts are also due on Fridays before the test. Contracts are do every week unless the teacher says otherwise.

We have started our reading routine this week. Your students should bring home thier vocabulary words on Monday. I am not able to post these words on my website due to the order in which my classroom operates. I will post sight words on the website.
