It was such a pleasure to meet each of you on registration day. I can tell from all of the smiling faces that this promises to be a very exciting year. I will do my very best to keep those faces smiling. During this first week of school, we will be spending quite a bit of time on classroom procedures and developing our expectations of behavior. In addition to this, we will also have some beginning of the year testing. These assessments will assist me in gaining an understanding of what your child knows and where we should go next. I will also be placing them in differentiated reading groups very quickly and will try to match them with an AR book on their level.
