Welcome back to the beginning of another exciting new year. Our new mission statement for Central Elementary this year is to provide a safe, nurturing and academically rich environment where self-worth is valued, expectations are high, and success is the only option. After being in this profession for more than 25 years, I am still excited about teaching students today, and want to make their educational experience positive and exciting. As the inclusion teacher , I will provide instructional support to special needs students in the general curriculum, and work with the students in individual deficit areas. The special education staff at Central Elementary have high expectations for students. Our goal is to help them reach their highest potential academically and socially. I encourage you to take an active part in your child's educational progress- review homework assignments, monitor grades, encourage reading daily, and conference with the teachers as needed. Your support will be greatly appreciated. You are an Essential Part to our TEAM (Together Everyone Achieve More).
