5th Grade news
Welcome to 5th Grade.
The students will be reading 3 novels this year. A paper was be sent home with information regarding this. Please make sure you send the $15. 00 as soon as possible
The STAR test has been given to each student and you got a copy of the results of the test along with your progress report. The AR goals have been set. The goals have been lowered because we did not start the program on time.
Please return the progress report signed t the homeroom teacher.
5th Grade is looking for a person to be the Chairperson of the 5th grade parent committee. Please contact the PTA if you are interested
Most of the classes have less than 50% of the parents joining the PTA. Please submit your money to pay for the PTA($8.00).
Students are expected to have their supplies every day. Just in case the supplies are as follows:
Pens (red and black or blue), pencils, paper, 2 duo tangs, 1 composition book, 1 homework folder. (If you prefer a binder that is fine as well)
There is also a list of donations which are welcomed and appreciated:
antibacterial lotion, tissues, wipes, paper towels, copy paper, pens, pencils, staplers, electric sharpeners, dry erase markers, treats.
