Any student who would like to join FEA (Future Educators Association) can pick up a student application form from the front office or see Mrs. Fancher in room #106.New York City and Washington , DC 4. Open House is this Thursday, the 21st from 4-6. This is an opportunity for your parents to come out and meet your teachers. The grade Parent Orientation/Information Session - 5:30 -6:00 PM during Open House in the cafeteria

- The Student Council would like to welcome everyone back to school with our first dress up day – Shade Day on Friday, August 22. Glasses can only be worn on top of your head. Thanks for supporting the Student Council.
- Our next game is away. It’s Friday against
- FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) will meet this Friday 6:45- 7:12 am on the BASEBALL FIELD BLEACHERS. If it rains, we’ll be in the lower gym.
- All math club members must get their form and T-shirt money to Ms. Thompson in room 36 this week. If you missed the first meeting, you can obtain a form from any math teacher
- LMS FFA Chapter will hold the first official meeting of the year this Thursday in room 67. Refreshments will be served. Plan to be picked up by 3:30. See Mr. H. for forms and more information.
- IMPORTANT: Students when walking to and from school do not trespass through people’s yard (property). Any violators can be prosecuted!
- Every Thursday morning the LHS Baseball team will have Bojangles Biscuits for sale in front of the cafeteria. They are only $2. Come eat breakfast and support LHS Baseball!!!
