The National Spanish Honor Society (aka La Sociedad Honoraria Hispana or SHH) is an organization that recognizes the academic achievements of students studying Spanish in advance levels. To become a member, you must:

~be taking an upper level Spanish class (3rd yr or higher)

~have an overall A average in all Spanish classes taken

~have an overall B average in all other high school classes

~have had no discipline referals while in high school

This organization is similar to National Honor Society and Beta in that we are community service based. We have 2 or 3 projects each year and we also have an annual scholarship which is given to a graduating senior who plans to major or minor in Spanish in college.
