What can I do as a parent to help my child have a successful year?
Your child will be bringing their Student Planner home every night. Be sure to review it every night. Please take the time to check and review your child's homework and check for understanding. Stay in contact with the teacher when you have a question or concerns. Help your child study by asking questions. With both positive reinforcement and praise your child will have a great and successful year.
Where can my child take an AR test?
Students can take Accelerated Reader tests in any 3rd grade classroom, or the library. They should already know their User name and password and should be able to log in to the program without any problems.
Where can my child find AR books?
AR books can be found in the library or in my classroom. All books, from the Library and/or my classroom have to be checked out and returned in a timely manner. If your child is not sure if their book is an AR book, I will be happy to look it up on the computer for them.
