This is my 8th year teaching, all of which have been at Heritage Middle School.  I love math and decided to switch careers from the business world to education.  I have never looked back.  There are so many amazing students that have truly changed my life.

I am also a girls basketball coach at Heritage.  We may not win EVERY game, but we try to have fun!

I am divorced and have 2 teenage children.  Jack is 19 and enjoying his first year in college at Loyola University.   Tori (Victoria) is 17 and a junior at York.  They are both extremely helpful and responsible, which definitely makes my life easier.  Oh, yeah, I have 2 dogs, Ellie (Australian Cattle Dog) and Buddy (Shi'zu).  They are so much fun!

I graduated (won't mention the year) from Southern Illinois University - go Salukis!  I graduated with 2 bachelor's degrees, one in math, one in psychology.  Then I received my masters in education from National Louis University - fall 2007! 

Activites:  I love all outdoor sports, boating, swimming, biking, hiking, walking, etc.  In the winter my true love is snow mobiling.  Once I tried it, I was hooked.  I don't have a machine of my own, but I have real close friends that love my company (lol).
