August 22, 2008 Dear Parents, In order to meet our third grade goal for AR, your child will need to achieve 25 points by December. There will be a special reward from Mrs. Pratt for those who get to 25 points by December. Please encourage your child to read each night and to go to the library when they get to school in the morning. In keeping with goals, each third grader is required to know the multiplication tables from the 1s through the 6s by December, as well. Any spare time at home, can be used going over flash cards or practicing on the computer. Thank you to those who came to the fundraiser at Publix last Saturday for Joey’s Toy Box. We had a great turnout and raised close to $1800! *Please continue to sign all homework and the agenda when it comes home at night. The third grade teachers appreciate knowing that you are aware of what goes on in class each day. - Sally Foster fundraiser continues through Sept. 12th
