Spelling/Vocabulary Workshop
Level C Vocabulary Workshop is a challenging text book. To help the students be successful, a unity study guide will be provided. Each child is responsible for marking their textbook for study purposes. Generally we take about 10 days to complete each unit.
The tests will include a concept grade and an application grade. The following sections are used for the concept grade: pronunciation, part of speech, spelling, and definitions. The following sections are used for the application grade: synonyms, antonyms, and word usage.
The children will be expected to know how to spell all the words in each unit. This will be used as the spelling grade for the 2011 - 2012 school year.
We will begin Unit 14 on Monday May 21st.
We have been using the MIMIO board during our vocabulary class. Wow! What great volunteers!!!
