Biography
2011-2012 school year
Dear Students & Parents,
This is my 5th year teaching Physical Science at Loganville Middle School. The students at LMS are extremely enthusiastic about learning when they are challenged. I really have to credit the parents for being so supportive of their students and myself. I look forward to working with you this year.
My husband and I have lived in Loganville for 16 years. We have two children Shad and Jada. Shad is in 10th grade and Jada is in 9th. We like reading, watching movies, camping, birding, and visiting historical sites. We are active members at First Baptist Church of Loganville and LMS PTSO.
I have a Master's from Brenau University in Middle Grades Education, a Bachelor's from UGA in Geography, and an Associate from Georgia Perimeter College in Social Science.
I spent July 2010 at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Laboratory. I received a fellowship through the U.S. Department of Energy and the Department of Education to work with scientists to receive Physics instruction and laboratory training. This was an exciting opportunity!
During summer 2011, I participated in a Materials Science & Engineering Camp for teachers at Georgia Tech. This program focused on Chemistry and Lab activities. I am an avid learner and love to bring back new ideas to my classroom.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Stark
