My name is Sherry Creasy Washington. I have been married to Dwane for 10 years, and we have one daughter, Mary Grace. This is my fifth year to teach seventh grade English at Brighton Middle School and my second year to be a National Junior Honor Society sponsor. Before coming to BMS, I taught third and first grades at Crestview Elementary. I am a native of Tipton County and attended Brighton Elementary, Munford Middle, and Munford High.
Some of my hobbies include reading, shopping, and sports. Football is my favorite sport to watch. One of my all time favorite authors is Nicolas Sparks who wrote The Notebook. However, I am a Twilight fan as well.
I enjoy writing and have written a children's book. I hope to one day have it, along with a series of books, published. I am also working on some other writing projects that I hope to have published as well.
