Honors and Gifted World Literature: November 30th-December 4th, 2009

 Ms Lynn is GRADUATING!  That means, however, that her last day will be December 3rd.  I will be sending home a letter with suggestions for gifts and/or "party" items. 

 1. The Greek Newspapers will be due upon return from the Thanksgiving Break.  We have finished the mythology centers, so you now have the opportunity to apply your vast knowledge to your newspaper articles.  I cannot wait to see the final products!

2.  We will begin the Iliad after Thanksgiving Break.  The chapters we will read are in the textbook, so make use of your at home textbook. Tongue out

3.   When we come back from Thanksgiving, we have three weeks of additional study before the mid-term.  Our mid-terms will be given on the following dates: 

1st and 3rd Period---Tuesday, December 15th

2nd and 4th Period---Wednesday, December 16th

5th and 7th Period---Thursday, December 17th

6th and 8th Period---Friday, December 18th

 

 Important Dates to Remember:

 Thanksgiving Break is Nov. 23rd through the 27th!  Enjoy!
