Last updated March 30th, 2012 at 11:37 a.m.The Cobb County website will provide you with information regarding school policy and general requiremments. Please go to www.cobbk12.org for any school or county specific questions.
Daily PowerPoint: Please check the FILES section of this website to see what we finished last week. If you do not have powerpoint at home, you will not be able to open this document, however.
1.) Hamlet will be our focus for the next two weeks.
2. If you want to purchase your own Hamlet test, try going to a used book store. Much Cheaper!
3. Take some time to organize your notebook. It will be quite helpful to be organized for the semester. Look at your syllabus for suggested tabs.
4. Daily journals are due after every six journals. Please make sure you have all of the sections completed---even on days you were absent. I do not take late formative assessments, so you'll have to hand in what you have, completed or not.
A Few Things To Remember...
*Organization is imperitive in this class. We have numerous assignments that build on each other, so you need to make sure you can keep up with the work.
*Manage your time effectively. I do not give meaningless assignments that take up time but not much mental space. Therefore, you must set aside time to do homework. Doing the work on the bus, in the class period prior to mine, or copying someone else's work will not land you in an 11th grade Honors level course.
*Purchase high lighters and dividers. Do not purchase red pens. I am a red pen teacher, so stick with blue or black ink, please.
Important Dates to Remember
Spring Break: First week of April
