About Me...

My name is Stephanie Fletcher and I am the ESOL teacher at White Oak Elementary School in Newnan, Georgia. This will be my seventh year of teaching.  My first three years of teaching were in Clayton County, Georgia.  In Clayton County, I taught first and second grades.  In 2006, I began my teaching career at White Oak Elementary. At White Oak, I had the pleasure of teaching first grade for two years and then "looped" with my last first grade class up to second grade.  It was during my time at White Oak, that I developed a true passion for working with English Language Learners.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with our school's English Language Learners (ELL's) this year! My hope is that this site will provide helpful information for parents and classroom teachers of ELL's.

One of my other joy's in life, is taking care of my little boy, Luke Holland.  Luke was born on April 4, 2009 and has completely changed my life! He is growing and changing everyday and my husband, Mark, and I are enjoying and savoring every moment!

As both a teacher and parent, I understand the perspectives of each.  My goal is to work collaboratively with the parents and teachers of the students I serve, in order to help each child develop his/her fullest potential. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
