WEEK OF JANUARY 5-9
I hope everyone had a meaningful Christmas season and got lots of rest. My classes will be writing every day during the month of January. This will get us ready for TCAP writing assessment the first week of February. There will be very short assignments most nights to keep up with the other aspects of the curriculum.
Homework for this week will be pages 139 through 143 in the workbook (chap 16. in text book). We will do one or two pages per night. Class time will be spent writing with the exception of the time taken to review these pages. Grades will be taken on both the writing and pages covered in Chap. 16.
PLEASE NOTE: FOR THE 2ND SEMESTER - ALL STUDENTS WILL HAVE TWO WEEKS ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM FOR MAKEUP WORK. ANY WORK NOT DONE BY THAT TIME WILL NOT BE MADE UP. TOO MANY STUDENTS ARE WAITING 7-8 WEEKS AND THEN EXPECT TO BE ALLOWED TO MAKE UP WORK WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE IT. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REINFORCE THIS AT HOME. I WILL TELL ALL CLASSES DAILY AND WILL HAVE THIS POSTED IN MY ROOM.
