Greetings Holy Cross Families,

We have entered into an especially solemn week as we enter the final days of the Catholic Lenten season during Holy Week 2010.  Here is what children can look forward to in Spanish K-3:

K1 & K-2:  Matching opposites independently and with a buddy or paired with a buddy in a group; Easter coloring page to go home

1-1 & 1-2:  Review Spanish Alphabet Listening Practice; learn about Quetzalcoatl, an ancient legendary god of wisdom and knowledge of the Mayans and Aztecs; International Easter Message word search to go home

2-1 & 2-2:  Quiz on Spanish opposites; learn about the people of Bolivia while focusing on the Catholic social teaching of caring for God's creation; International Easter Message word search to go home

3-1 (there will have a shortened Spanish 3-2 class period on Wednesday so that students may attend the school assembly):  Learn about the people of Bolivia while focusing on the Catholic social teaching of caring for God's creation; International Easter Message word search to go home
