A Fond Farewell

Dear Friends,
It is with sadness and difficulty that I must say "so long" as I have been offered a full time position at a middle school in Spotsylvania County through the end of the school year. Wednesday, April 21, is my last scheduled day at Holy Cross. I have thoroughly enjoyed working and getting to know your children. They have shown a genuine and healthy enthusiasm for learning a new language; you have much to be proud of where they are concerned! Thank you all for your generous support throughout this year in making sure that your children always had needed materials and supplies for classroom projects, completed take home assignments in a timely manner, routinely recited their prayers in Spanish, wrote about their family in the Spanish language (third graders), and reviewed for quizzes as needed. I wish you God's peace and continued blessings. Please remember to keep me in your prayers. You and your children will remain also in mine.
