When do I come to class and what are we going to do this year?

The calendars give the following information:
-The days you have P.E. or Wellness
-The unit your grade will be discussing in Wellness.
-The activity unit for P.E.
-Your advisory teachers will also have a schedule

What do I have to do to get a good grade in P.E. class?
1. Come in in an orderly manner, get dressed and sit in your squads
- Classes will be larger this year so we need you to get instructions so we can divide groups. You will not always be with the same group.
2. Dress out each day for class.
- You will need to be in a grey shirt and dark green shorts.
- PE uniforms are available in the office for $14.00.
- All clothes must cover your body when we are active.
- Dress for the weather! If you wear sweats, you need to wear your PE uniform under them. Sweats must be grey, forest green, or navy blue.
- Sagging or pajama bottoms are not acceptable.
- Tennis shoes only on the floor. Boots or balerina shoes are not safe for activity.
3. Participate in warm-ups and the activity for the day- even if the activity is not your favorite. Who knows...you may find that the activity is fun!
4. Show good sportsmanship to all classmates.
5. Follow the school-wide expectations for the classroom.
What do I have to do to get a good grade in Wellness class?
1. Enter in an orderly manner and sit in your assigned seat.
2. Come prepared to learn with an opened mind, pencil, paper, agenda, and your uniform in proper order.
3. Focus on the work and activity for the day- even if the topic is not your favorite. You might even learn something new!
4. Show respect to all equipment, classmates, and yourself.
5. Follow the school-wide expectations for the classroom.
