Math papers- why don't you see very many of them come home????
Most of the math work we do in class is "hands-on", using manipulatives. Sometimes, we will do worksheets to reinforce the concepts we're learning in math.

We will continue learning about the geometric 3D space shapes- examples: cube, sphere, cone, cylinder, and rectangular prism.
We will learn to identify, write, and count numbers 11-20. These are harder for children to learn, so please review them at home. The children have been exposed to these numbers when we do the calendar everyday, though.
We will begin learning about money towards the end of the month and continue that in December.
We will learn about ordinal numbers 1st-10th. The 12 Days of Christmas song has ordinal numbers in it!
We will introduce coins and their value and continue working on coins when we return from the Christmas break.
Please continue to review identifying, writing, and counting numbers up to the #20.
