Most of the math work we do in class is "hands-on", using manipulatives. Sometimes, we will do worksheets to reinforce the concepts we're learning in math.

We will be learning about addition and subtraction during the month of May.
Please continue to review the following concepts with your child: numbers 0-20; number words (zero through ten); days of the week when events occur- Monday- library; Tuesday- computer lab; Wednesday- music; Thursday- PE; Friday- Art; the terms "morning", "afternoon" and "night" and the events that normally occur during those time frames; coins and their values; "fair trades" with coins- 5 pennies equals 1 nickel; 10 pennies equals a dime (or 2 nickels)
