LESSON PLANS

STRETCH- Roll right ankle, left ankle. Up on toes. Feet together touch toes, right over left, left over right. Spread feet, grab ankles and pull head through. Squat . Leg up behind. Around town. Arm over head to right, other hand down side of leg. Pirate Stretch. Right, left arm stretch. Handcuffs. Hand on shoulder, left/right. Twist. Neck rotation. Look left/right.
EXERCISE- Chopping Wood, Toe Belly Back, Scissor Jump, Line Jump, Sit Ups, Push Ups, Leg Lifts, Jump Rope, Back Lifts, Jumping Jacks.
FORM RUNNING- Run, Skip, Slide, Karakoe, Bear Crawl, Crab Crawl, Backwards, Hop, Stretch High, Run.
HEALTH TALK- (Safety, Walking to School)
RULES- Students will be taught the Gym rules, and what is expected in PE.
TEAM BUILDING-Students will be asked to form a circle. Teacher will give different demands and circle must work together to keep the circle form. (2 giant steps back, 3 hops forward, 5 baby steps forward, 3 slides to the right, 1 hop in, 1 hop out, 5 slides to the left, squat down, turn around while squatting, shoot up, do something silly, 5 large steps back, 5 push ups, cross the circle, grab hands, circle all the way around, go back to original spot.
ACTIVITY-Fitness Testing-Students will test and record Fitness Testing results.
