We had a busy week in Science ….
Week of November 28, 2011:
We spent the week exploring Matter and its phases and properties. We learned the differences between each of the phases, and discussed how we can observe the properties of matter using our senses. Friday was all about Oobleck and exploring the gooey substance to determine if it was a solid, liquid or gas. Students will use what they knew about each state of matter to support their claim.
Next week we will continue studying the phases matter by analyzing the properties of Oobleck. We will also explore phase changes along with physical and chemical changes of matter.
Matter poems are due Tuesday, December 6!
