Homework
Your childs homework can be found in their Take-home folder. Below is a breakdown of homework for each day of the week:
Monday-
- Complete Math Log for Monday
- Word Work: Fill in the blanks with more words that follow the same phonics rule. Practice the 3 high frequency words orally. Write 5 sentences on the handwriting paper on the back of the Word Work sheet using words that follow the skill of the week.
- Read for 15 minutes
Tuesday-
- Read 15 minutes
- Complete Math Log for Tuesday
- Write sentences using the first 5 spelling words. Remember to use nice handwriting.
Wednesday-
- Read 15 minutes
- Complete Math Log for Wednesday
- Practice Reading Passage and practice spelling the high frequency words and all words from box.
Thursday-
- Read 15 minutes
- Complete Math Log for Thursday
- Practice Reading Passage and practice all words from the box and high frequency words for the week.
***Spelling Test on Friday!
In addition, a Math practice sheet will be sent home.This is due by the end of the week.
Parents/ Guardians...please initial each night after homework is completed.
