Algebra I and Pre-algebra

Rules:

1.  Be courteous and respectful to  all. (other students,  me and yourself!)
2. Be in seat and prepared for class when the bell rings.
3. Be attentive and follow directions the first time given.
4. Have all materials and homework  in class.
5. Always do your best!
6. Follow 8^th grade, school, and county rules.

Consequences/ Rewards: (See eighth grade discipline plan)

1^st – warning ( a look, name on board, name called, and tapping on the desk could be given)

2^nd- Spoken to, note in agenda, and call home could be given.

3^rd-Detention, phone call, note in agenda, and/ or office referral could be given.

4^th- Office referral

Rewards :  A good education, verbal praise, candy, or note home are all possibilities

Supplies:

1.  Folder or notebook with pockets and paper to keep up with papers and homework (graph paper will be needed at  some point)
2. Pencils (no pens)
3. Composition book to be left in class
4. Calculator (TI 30)
5. Index cards
6. Black dry-erase marker

      ***** In homeroom, I need  Kleenex, paper towels, and wet-wipes, also.

Parent and student:

1. 1.         Please sign up on my website:   www.schoolrack.com/sherrycampbell  to earn your child extra credit points and to get updates.
2. 2.       Homework will be on the site and will be given regularly. Failure to do homework could result in being assigned after school detention with me or even Saturday School to get caught up.
3. 3.       I do tutoring after school from 3-3:30 if needed on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  I also allow daily grades to be made redone to improve grades.
4. 4.       Detention will be given either Tuesday (7:00-7:30 a.m.) or after school 3-3:30 on days I stay.
5. 5.       Students, be sure to take agenda book home, and parents, please check it for possible notes.
