Topics Covered • How to edit raw video footage • How to add titles, sounds and other creative touches • How to make a stop motion movie • How to compress files for web streaming • How to make a DVD menu using iDVD • Different techniques used in various genres • Assessment The students grades will include the following and be calculated Based on points received for each assignment: • Tests and quizzes • Project completion • Class work / pre-project work • Class participation Student Objectives • Students will use iMovie to create a variety of different types of movies • Students will master editing and creative techniques in iMovie • Students will work diligently in the pre-project stage in order to plan out their projects and create higher quality projects. It allows for more versatility than HTML and other web design programs, making it an ideal program for creative students.
