Do NOT trust wiki answers to provide correct information for the Weekly Geo questions!!!

13 out of 24 students got the first question wrong because they copied their answer straight from the wiki answers website.   I talked to all of my students a few weeks ago about not trusting everything they read on the internet, and I will remind them again this week before the next Weekly Geo is due.

Please help your child find credible sources of information when searching the internet.  Look for a list of credible links in the upcoming days.

Every Monday I will be assigning my students a worksheet called Weekly Geo.  This is homework that they are to work on at home and in their free time.  They may look up the answers using any source they choose, however  all answers must be written in complete sentences according to the CJH Code of Writing.  Points will be taken off for not using this format, as well as for improper punctuation and capitalization.

Everyone has the Code of Writing in their ELA folders.  It is the yellow card-stock page they recieved at the beginning of the year.

Most of the answers can be found in the Social Studies text book.  Students are allowed to take their books home if needed.

We will be having a quiz on Eastern Woodlands and Cheyenne Indians on Tuesday.  Everyone has the vocabulary they need to study in their SS folders.
