Policy
Parents/Students: Home learning is assigned Monday through Friday, and will usually re-address the material discussed and taught in class on that particular day. Therefore, home learning is used as a reinforcement tool for the student's learning success, and to ensure a positive academic grade.
Math home learning will always go hand in hand with the lesson taught on the same day. In addition to their daily home learning, students will be assigned the Math Superstar worksheet that will go home on Tuesday and will be due that same Friday.
Your child's Math and Social Studies textbook can be accessed online by going to www.eharcourtschool.com. The students have been given their username and password that will allow them to view all pages in the textbook.
To access the Science textbook just click on the following site. It will open onto the textook cover. Then, make sure to copy the web site link in the address bar and paste into "My Favorites".

Occassionally, small projects for Social Studies and/or Science will be assigned and sent home for the student to revise/edit or complete. Some projects may include downloading of pictures from the internet. Your local Public Library will be available for computer use, should you not have a computer or printer at home.
GRADE: The students have been told that they will receive a grade for home learning each quarter. Please check with your child daily to ensure they are doing their assignment/s.
