Hello everybody, I would like to introduce myself. I grew up in Granite City and graduated from Granite High School. I recieved my Bachelor's of Science Degree from SIU Edwardsville in 1993. I begin working in the wonderful school district of Madison that same year. I love it here!
I am the mother of 3 and grandmother of 3.
It took me 33 years to meet my dream of becoming an elementary teacher but I finally did it after being a stay at home mother, graphic artist and a purchasing agent.Even though those were all exciting and endearing jobs, I never stopped wanting to become a teacher by profession. So at the age of 30, I returned to college and completed my degree. I have been teaching for 19 years and love all of our kiddos.
Some of my hobbies are drawing, painting and reading and writing. Summer time is a time to grow things in my garden and my mind.
My dogs, Lucy and Ethel are always by my side. We rescued both dogs and are so glad we did because they are wonderful pets.
Basically, I enjoy children, all kinds of people and life!
