ESPANOL III - week of 9/15 - 9/19

LUNES: Students will recieve a packet with information on Mexico Independence Day. The students will read individually and then have class discussion.

MARTES: Students will prepare the paragraph they made to present by memory to the class of themselves. They will present for a grade.

MIERCOLES:(block for periods 1,3,5 + 7) Students will make a "Four Corner Map" about the Mexican Independence Day. These will be presented next week.

JUEVES:(block for periods 2,4,6 +8, Same lesson as on Wed.)

VIERNES: Students will take the Test on Mexican Independence Day.

Español III - Week of 9/1 ~ 9/5

LUNES: Labor Day Holiday!

MARTES: Study a poem from Pablo Neruda, "La tortuga". Read the poem from the textbook, pages 20-21. Answer queations A-E. Then have class discussion.

MIERCOLES: Block classes for  periods 1,3,5 + 7. Students will start to write a paragraph of themselves. They will folow the sentence structure given using the skills learned in this chapter. The students will work independently and ask for help as needed.

JUEVES: Block classes for periods 2,4,6 + 8. Students will do the same as the other classes did on Wednesday.

VIERNES: Students will put together a cover for their Spanish class porfolio. They will have a peer proof read their piece then turn it in to the teacher to proof read. Once they get the OK they will re-write their paragraph on an index card to paste on the cover and draw some things they wrote about. If students do not complete their work they may have to finish next week.

LUNES- 1)Students will review vocab from the list of words (their packet) they will be quized on this week & write from the board the present tence stem changing verbs (p.11 TextB)  2)Then they will turn to page 9, Act.7 of textbook to introduce vocab that express feelings. TAREA-Activity 2/3 worksheet

MARTES- Review Vocab. Quiz #3. Students will grade themselves for quick feedback. tomorrow Chapter 1 Vocab. Quiz"Primer paso". TAREA - Workbook pp. 3,4 & 5. to help study for quiz.

MIERCOLES (Block;only periods 1,3,5 & 7 today)- Chapter 1 Vocab. Quiz. Check Activity sheet 2/3 for accuracy. Students will read their sentences out loud to check pronounciation. Students will then work independently to practice writting skills on p.13 activity 15 in Textbook. They will also study for Review Vocab Quiz #4 on Friday.
