ESPANOL I - Sept. 15th ~ 19th

LUNES: Students will be given a packet with information to read about the Independence Day of Mexico. Then have class discussion.

MARTES: Students will study vocabulary from Chapter 2 "1er Paso". They will repeat words as a group for accuracy. Also they will practice the alphabet to enhance pronounciation. Students will work on activity in workbook p.9.

MIERCOLES: Students will copy vocabulary from page 73, 2do Paso. Then go over them one by one to check pronounciation and meaning. Students will work with a partener to study the words.

JUEVES: The students will work on activity in their textbook to use the vocabulary in context. They will work on sentence structure.                                                          The students reviewed details about the Mexican Independence Day for their test tomorrow.

VIERNES: The students will take the Test on Mexican Independebce Day

 MARTES - Review vocabulary with an interactive activity. Going over pronounciation with vowel song.

MIERCOLES - Chapter 1 test (2 evaluations) - Multiple choise and written sentences Students will review the

JUEVES - Introduction to Chapter 2. Discuss objectives, then view Short clip and talk about Spain.

VIERNES - Students will learn the vocabulary from Ch. 2 -1er Paso on page 73. Then repeat for correct pronounciation and write them in their notebooks with their definitions.

Español I - Week of 8/25 - 8/29

LUNES- 1)Students will review vocab. 2)Then they will be introduced to the verb "ser" that means "to be". 3)The students will use names/ counties/cities to form 10 sentences to practice the different forms of the verb "ser". 4)On p.30 in textbook, students will do Act 25. 5)The students will pair up to form a conversation using the sentence structure learned. Textbook pp.27-30. this activity will be counted for a quiz grade. TAREA- Workbook p.5+6.

MARTES-Students will be introduced to the alphabet and learn the Abc Song. Then review the vocabulary introduced fron Chapter 1-Primer Paso. Students will then go over pages 5 & 6 to check comprhention. Then they will write sentences of their own using the vocab.

MIERCOLES- The students will have a writting activity using gustar/no gustar, textbook p.32.  They will also be introduced to definit articles. The sentences will be graded.

JUEVES- Students will pare up and together work on a dialogue. They will use the example found on page 34. As they finish their work will be proof read by the teacher then studied to present to class the following day.

VIERNES- The students will have a quiz on the vocabulary in context. Then they will present their dialogues for a grade.
