Ransom Middle School Chorus

Solo and Ensemble Festival will be for 8th grade students only since we are having difficulty getting busses this year.  This festival is a wonderful experience for your child to grow as a musician.  We will be in a small room and will only have one judge.  We have solos, duets and small ensembles participating.  The Festival will be this coming Tuesday, November 18th in Milton at the First Baptist Church on Highway 90.  We will be leaving Ransom around 9:15 am and the students need to be dressed and ready to go by 9:00 am sharp!  We will reutnr to school before the bell rings for the end of the day.  There are minimal fees for this and your child should have brought home a slip of paper with their total.  Please send in their money as soon as possible.

Solo and ensemble sign up will start soon!  Solo and Ensemble is a wonderful opportunity for your child to grow as a musician.  All 7th and 8th grade choruses will  divide up into small ensembles or the students can choose their own group to sing one song for a judge.  We will offer to 8th graders first the opportunity o try out for a solo, duet or trio as well.
