Make the most of your senior year! Don't procrastinate!

CLASS OF

2012

"Let us not grow weary in well doing for we shall reap if we faint not."

Congrats!  You've made it this far! But...you still have to make it through the year and graduate.  Enjoy your year but stay on top of things so that you will be successful.  Here are some important tips:

  • Pray for wisdom and understanding as you and your family begin to make some very important decisions about your future.
  • Register for the fall SAT or ACT if you've not already done so.  You should focus on taking the October and November tests
  • Do your official SAT Question-of-the-day every day.
  • Visit the school(s) of your choice.  Campus tours really help you make decisions about which college(s) you want to attend.
  • Keep a calendar of important deadlines
  • Diligently search for scholarships
  • Don't let your GPA fall.  You need to maintain your grade point average.
  • Do some volunteer service or begin to document and compile the hours you've already completed.  Remember...if you serve/work in any capacity and you're not being paid for your time, you will more than likely be able to count those hours as volunteer hours.
