Dear Art Students and Parents,

Welcome to Art Class!  I hope you will remember this time as one of  your best school experiences.

I am so glad to have you in my classroom.  We will have a fun and busy year!  Attached you will find our Art Room Rules and Classroom Procedures and Behavior Contract. Parents, please read the Rules, Procedures and Contract carefully; sign the Contract with your child and send it back as soon as possible.  Tomorrow, I will send home your Skills Agenda and Calendar of  Lessons Planned. 

Art is an elective that requires a $30.00 fee for the year.  Please send it in by Friday, 18 August 2006. Make checks payable to Rudd Middle School.  You will also need the following items:

A Pencil Every Day!

Colored Pencils (12 or 24 pack)

One Pencil Sharpener (manual)

Markers (8 or 10 pack classic)

One Sketchbook (8.5x11 approximately)

One Loose-leaf Folder in color specified:

1st Period - Red

2nd - Blue

3rd - Yellow

5th - Green

6th - Orange

7th - Purple

To limit time out of the classroom for going to the Health Room, the Art Room needs a few supplies.  Would you be able to share one or more of the following items?

tissue

band aids

paper towels

plastic or paper cups (5-6 oz.)

liquid hand soap
