4 Large Glue sticks ( Elmers... Crayola)

1 White (1 1/2") 3 ring Binder with clear plastic insert cover

2 Packs of clear sheet protectors for the binder ( 30pgs+)

1 Box of Jumbo  Ziploc Freezer bags

1 Box of small Ziploc Sandwich bags ( zipped only)

2 Packs of multicolored  pipe cleaners (1 red-1green) boys only

2 Packs of multicolored pipe cleaners (1brown1black) girls only

1 Pack white plain small paper plates

1 Pack multicolored Sharpie markers

1 Pack multicolored EXPO Dry Erase Markers

Please label all the following items below individually : 

1- A change of clothes ( shirt, pants/skirt, a pair of socks & underwear)in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name on it & on every item.

2- 1 Paint smock / Apron (labeled w/ your child name).

3- 1 Jumbo/XL beach towel/blanket to use @ rest time.

4- 1 Large Backpack/  NO WHEELS PLEASE!!!!  ( the backpack has to be large enough to fit: the change of clothes, the plastic folders with homework, the large towel /blanket). Please make sure all these items are labeled.

Classroom News.

This week we learned reviewed Our Senses, we learned about patterns in Nature . we looked all around us for patterns as we were detectives. We learned a lot about the letter Uu tthe sound it makes . We found words like Ukelele... We learned about the number 2. We learned tro spell the number words One & Two.  We talked about things that come in pairs. We read many stories: Lots & Lots of Zebra Stripes, Uncle Ugby, Five Little Monkeys jumping on the bed. We also worked at spelling words and writing them down.  We reviewed the letters SS, Pp, Tt, Xx, Oo and also their sounds. We read: "  We had lots of fun singing happy Birthday to Branden. We learned many new songs like: The more we get together, 5 little monkey sitting in a tree, I'm a little tea pot, Row, row, row your boat.

This upcoming week we will keep on  working with :

The Weather,

We will introduce the number 3 & review 1 & 2

We will read more stories about The Weather.  We will learn about the Letter Yy . We will continue counting and using the computer to access the Waterford Program for Early Math and counting & also Science. We have the  Riverdeep usernames and passwords . We will soon send them to each parents so the children can go online and work on the activities. Please send in all homework including the picture cut outs for the letter Uu on Monday.

There will be no school on Wednesday November 11th it is Veteran's Day. Please plan accordingly.

 Our students now have access to work on activities to enhance many of the required skills for Pre-K on Riverdeep.  We will soon forward the information and instructions sheets for login to you.
