This is my 18th year of teaching great students. I still love coming to school every day. I have been at Copperfield for 5 years now, the last 3 years teaching 1st grade.

I know I'm in the heart of Longhorn country, but I am an Aggie (whoop!). I have even enjoyed those football games in the last few years.

My favorite subject to teach is reading. It really unlocks all other information. First graders are so eager and ready to read!

I am married to a wonderful husband and we have a 6 year-old daughter. We also have some four-legged members of our family. Otis, our orange tabby cat and Penny, our chocolate lab. They keep us laughing.
