The Longest Road

Throughout my life was pain and hurt.
Hell and torture some people say.
Everyday I walk, the longest road.
Long and narrow the road was made.
One way road toward the end
No looking back at hell
Going back, I would die
Every step scares me more
Scared not of death, but leaving life behind
Throughout the road a small light appears.
Revealing light opens more and more
Opens so bright it blinds me
At last the light consumes me
Death can no longer hurt me.
