Parents and Students:
Welcome to 8th grade US History! I am very excited to be teaching this course here at Bayou View Middle. I am originally from the New Orleans area, but moved to Gulfport as a child. I attended Bayou View Middle School (known then as Bayou View Junior High), and am overjoyed to be teaching here now. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. Geaux Tigers!

I just recently completed my first marathon in San Francisco, California. I raised money through Team and Training, an organization that supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I hope that my energy and persistence shows through to my students.
