First Graders say the funniest things!
On Veterans' Day Mr. Frick read the book Nubs to the class. They were very interested in the story and in what Mr. Frick had to say about his experience in Iraq.
Our Fall Celebration was great fun. The children practiced skills learned while making apple cider, playing games and making a pumpkin centerpiece. We also had a delicious snack at the end of the day.
The children are now published. We wrote our first book last week and everyone is very excited to read their book to a kindergartener. We will be doing that on Monday. The children are very proud of themselves and should be.
The children had a great time on Friday switching classes. They were very anxious to show the wonderful activities they made in the other classes.
