A FEW SHORT MESSAGE:

I'm just overjoyed at how well the children did reading and singing and dancing during the Volunteer Day mass and breakfast. They were GREAT!!

Hats off also to the children that read the prayer last week each day. WELL DONE!!!

NO MORE HOMEWORK IN BINDERS. Any homework this week will be their folders. Binders stay home.

A packet of information went home last week about our field trip. PLEASE take time to read it over BEFORE Thursday so you know what activities you and your child want to do. Also, take note about the lunch offered.AND please pray it doesn't rain!!

The class picnic is May 29. Please send in the money and your slip checked with what your child would like for lunch. We realize it's a Chick-fil-a Day. We are going to see if we can get those packed up and we will send them home with your child that day.If you volunteered, a room mom will be contacting you.

May is busy. Keep the calendar handy!

Warm weather uniform may be worn.

A paper with all the things going  on in May went home on Friday. Please keep it handy to refer to during the month.

The last full month is upon us and I will be using this time to continue getting the children prepared for 1st grade. Please remind them that staying focused is very important.

Mrs. Sosnowski's Summer program form was also sent home. Please return, if interested. They were due May 8th.

A number of the children are on their last glue stick. The next time you go shopping and see the fatter glue sticks please get one for your child to finish out the year. Thanks!

You may want to send a water bottle for when we come in from recess now that the weather has gotten a little warmer.

If you are going on our Ripken Field trip and aren't STAND certified, time is running out. Please try to carpool with someone, if possible.

Please remember to pack spoons and forks as needed for snack and lunch.

As you clean out to begin the new year, please send any unwanted toys, games, puzzles in to us. We can always use some new things to get through the cold winter months when we have to stay in  due to the frigid temperatures. Thanks!

On Thursdays you may want to send the boys in short sleeve shirts so they don't get messed up in Art.

Let's work on shoe tying and in the mean time DOULBLE-KNOT shoes. Thanks SO MUCH!!

Remember to sign the front page of the homework binder each day. Also, the children should write their name on each page,in pencil.

When the school has a 12:00 dismissal, we get out at 11:50 and the children do not eat lunch here. Those days you only need to send a snack.

Please send a drink with your child's morning snack. Water is fine. They may also have a water bottle on these warmer days. For some of us drinking the milk  has become an issue. I am encouraging them to drink it all. You might want to ask your child if they're finishing it. Thanks!

Please make sure your child's name is on everything.(Sweaters, sweatshirts etc.)

If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me or write me a note.

I look forward to seeing everyone on  Monday.Laughing
