These award-winning books will be ordered for our library soon. Please go to the American Library Association website, and read the reviews of the winning books and authors. Check out the honor books. I think you will find some familiar names of authors that we have talked about in class. The Carnegie Medal, given for the best video for kids, was awarded for...guess what...Don't let the pigeon drive the bus. Didn't you just know already that something by Mo Willems would win an award? He must have a room full of awards already. Judging by the smile on your faces everytime I present a new book by him, he deserves it.
