Students who would like to recieve extra ceredit can, but need to realize that it will not make up for really poor test scores or change a grade on their report card.

Extra credit might help a grade if its between grades. It might help a student with a C+ receive a B- . Basically it gives a student a few extra points. Depending on the total # of points a quarter and how extra credit points average in.
