Gulf Islands National Seashore

We recently enjoyed a field trip to Gulf Islands National Seashore.  While there, we hiked  beautiful trails and enjoyed some time outdoors with nature.  We met a Park Ranger and learned a lot from him.  This field trip greatly enriched our "Nature Theme"  unit of stories.  Please click on the link below to view some photos from our day.   You may wish to click on the link on the right corner of the page to view the photos in a slide show.

Class "Camp Out"

After reading Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night, the second grade staged our own "camp out."  We enjoyed singing songs around the "campfire" with Henry's mother and father (aka Donna and Pete Snell).  You may view photos of this event at the link below.
