About Mrs. Uria

Welcome to kindergarten! I am very happy to be your teacher! My name is Mrs. Maria Uria. I am married and have a son who is 17 years old. I have been teaching kindergarten at Miami Lakes K-8 Center for nine years. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s degree in pre-k/primary education.
I believe that all my students are superstars. I will do everything possible to motivate them to achieve their fullest potential. I expect my students to do their best and believe that they can succeed. I work as a team with the parents to help their child succeed in school and I am always available to answer any questions or concerns.
