                                    Reading is Spectacular

• AR reading is every night and this should be an easy reading book at their independent level.  If they can't pronounce the words and don't know their meaning, it is not fun.
• Fluency reading this week is "The Horse Snake" and it is due Thursday.  Remember they need to read out loud to an adult for at least 30 minutes a week.
• We will begin working on the Extended Response section of the ISAT
• The story for this week is "The Denali Challenge"
• Over the vacation your child will be reading "Iceman"

Practice makes perfect and this is what your child needs to be a successful reader, thank you for your support in our reading program.
