Wedding Photos Online

Okay, I'm sure most of you are pretty tired of hearing about my wedding. I don't blame you; we had a countdown on the board for goodness sakes! But... if you want to see 100 fabulous professional photos from my big day, just click on the link below. You'll have to enter your email address and your name, but then it will take you to the pictures. Has it really been two months since they were taken?! I'll be praying for each of you as school starts. If you have any specific prayer requests, please email me and I'll be happy to take them to the Lord.

A New Year

Summer is almost over!

As you begin a new school year, I am beginning a new chapter in my own life. I want to say thank you to everyone who came to my wedding; it was great seeing you, even if only for a short time during the reception. I wish you all could have been there, but in a way you were - I carry you with me in my heart, each one of you. I can't tell you how much you have meant to me. I will always remember you as my kids!

I'll be checking in with Mrs. Holcomb and Mrs. Chamblee to see how you are doing in Junior and Sophomore English, so don't slack up now! Sophomores (well, Juniors now), you've made it through the dreaded state test! Now comes the time to learn for YOU, to better yourself without the pressure of some arbitrary state-mandated exam. Relax, enjoy, and learn! Make it your goal to learn at least ONE new thing a day. Believe me, when you get older you will regret not learning more when you had the chance (just ask any adult who works for a living). Upcoming freshmen, how I wish I could have taught you one more year! This is your big state-test year in English, so take it seriously. Study hard from the very beginning, and like the apostle Paul said, finish the race! Keep going, keep learning, even when it's not fun or exciting - just keep learning! I promise you that it will pay off.

As for me, I am doing just fine here in Huntsville, Alabama. I love the city, and I love being married. Stephen is a wonderful, godly leader of our little family. I can't wait to see how God will use us to further His kingdom! We've joined a chuch here, and I keep busy doing things around the house. I love cooking for Stephen every night, and we go on walks after dinner. It's kind of like that old show "Little House on the Prarie" without all the kids, of course.

I'll try to keep this website going for as long as possible. It might not be linked to the high school site very long, so bookmark this address if you ever want to come back to it. If you ever need anything, please remember that I will always be here for you. I'd love to pray for you specifically, so if you have any prayer requests please bring them my way! If you just want to give me an update on your life, I'd love to hear from you, too! I'll try to keep you all up to date on what I'm doing as well.

Until next time, I love you and miss you!

Mrs. Stroud
(aka Ms. Fielder)

New Pictures!

I'm in the process of posting some pictures from the end of the school year, as well as some personal photos from my wedding and honeymoon. They should be up soon. Enjoy!
