As a part of the club, students will learn ways in which they can make a positive impact on the environment within CLC as well as the surrounding community. 

So far, the club has already increased the amount of recycling done at school, and our goal is to reach a balance with what enters and leaves the school as far as recyclable materials are concerned.  We will also be linking up with the McHenry County Defenders organization to expand recycling of “difficult to recycle” materials.

The club wishes to leave a series of legacy gifts to the school in efforts to make CLC a more environmentally sustainable member of the community.  We are planning to launch several fundraisers that may include, but not be limited to the following:
