Welcome to 7th grade at North East Middle School! Please feel free to utilize the website for resources, download forms, and check homework and assessment dates. I will try my best to keep the site updated everyday, but sometimes due to certain circumstances, it may not be updated. If this is the case, please refer to your child's planner for homework information. Students should be writing down all homework assignments in their planners each day, and should be taking them home with them each afternoon.

Please accept my apology for not posting information for this week. My page was down and not working. It is working again, and I will be posting again as of Monday. Just so you know, plot projects are due on Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding!

MAKE-UP WORK!
Today students received an individual print out of their grades and assignments in Language Arts. They were told that they need to look and see what is missing, and what tests/quizzes they can re-take. I am staying tomorrow, Wednesday, October 5th until 3:45, AND next Wednesday, October 12 until 3:45. Students can come to make up work but they MUST have a parent note giving permission. Also, students MUST be picked up by 3:45. Students without a note will not be permitted to stay, and will go home on the bus.
After School Help/Quiz re-takes
Hello parents!
Students were informed at the beginning of the school year that they are able to re-take any tests or quizzes EXCEPT for unit exams. I have only had one student ask so far to re-take a quiz! Please encourage your child to re-take tests and quizzes when he or she fails them. I am available some days after school until 3:30 to stay and have students re-take quizzes. Please email me or send me a note to ask if I am available to stay on desired days. The only day that I am definitely not available is Tuesday. This is also offered for extra help.
